AHLMANN-ZERSSEN GMBH promotes employee health
Since May 2020, AHLMANN-ZERSSEN has been offering all employees to lease bicycles or e-bikes through Bikeleasing-Service GmbH & Co. KG.
"This offer is based on the request of an employee who wanted to cover his daily commute with the e-bike instead of his car," explains Managing Director Holger Trost "and due to the reduced taxation of the monetary benefit to only 0.25% the offer is becoming increasingly interesting - not to mention the tax benefits of the potential salary conversion. Also, since it is important to AHLMANN-ZERSSEN as an employer to support the health of our colleagues, of course we are happy about every kilometer that is cycled and not driven by car. That is why there is an additional monthly grant for every leasing contract that is concluded.”
Marcus Kläschen (pictured below with Managing Director Holger Trost) is now one of several employees who have taken advantage of the offer and who currently travels a good 40 km almost every day - on his way to the office and back home.
